hm seems to be something else wrong, tried bubble bobble and no sound

sorry about that.. but still any plans for a PAL "corrected" release later? ^_^

edit: apparently there was something wrong with the TV settings for the NES channel.. I wonder how that happened :S

Awesome. Unfortunately (as you said in the readme) its not working on my PAL NES - the interface seems to work but there's no sound. I guess I have to go emu for now. Will there be PAL support in a feature release? :)

yeah, but I've never liked GCC assembler syntax.. it just feels so wrong :s (although I've not looked at it in a while, might have changed my mind)

funny you should ask, I've recently gotten interested in genesis/megadrive too (mostly because of the FM sound). Haven't really started coding anything yet just tried to create a simple rom really, but found some material to read: http://darkdust.net/writings/megadrive http://gendev.spritesmind.net/...

used to do all sorts of stuff in it.. it was also through QB I was introduced to ASM too.. inline assembly stuff to get acceptable draw speed. Don't remember to much about it just that it was a pain to do iirc.
