Re: Make a VT game work on nes

It probably isn't so simple of an answer to change a few bits and expect VTx game to run on NES. The honest answer is, NEITHER of us know how to do it. You have to think about it from our perspective too, not just from your own. To us, you are asking us to do a lot of work for you, to figure out ho...

Re: How can i insert Emulator Mods/Patches into FCEUX?

It's not just a mapper, it's an entirely different console that happens to be based on the NES, but has 4bpp graphics instead of 2bpp. Sounds like you'd want this feature to be integrated into FCEUMM-libretro so Retroarch would be able to run this. but actually, if you take the VT02 versions of the...

Re: Make a VT game work on nes

You remind me of myself when I was 15 or 16 years old, first using the internet and posting on web forums using dial-up modem. I remember, people seemed so mean and didn’t want to help me. In case that is where you are, I will say that you can have anything you want if you are willing to do it your...

Re: How can i insert Emulator Mods/Patches into FCEUX?

What is "Patch"? "Patch" is a standard Unix command-line tool, people running Linux usually have this program already. But it's not standard on Windows. If you have ever installed Git, MinGW, MSYS, or Cygwin, you probably have this program somewhere, look for "patch.exe" in one of those. Otherwise,...

How can i insert Emulator Mods/Patches into FCEUX?

i have found this interesting Patch for FCEUX:
https://github.com/Tippek/fceux-mod

it is a .patch file, but the readme gives no instructions on how to actually insert the mod.
could anyone help me out?

Re: VT09 RAM

Might I suggest finding a VT03/VT09 emulator rather than using an NES emulator? Also, did you really need to resurrect a 3+ year-old thread rather than posting in the VTxx thread you already made? sadly, there is no VT03 Emulator for Retrofw or the Miyoo CFW, whereas FCEUX is the one, who got porte...

Re: VT09 RAM

The VT09 variant of the OneBus-type Famiclones has 4 KiB instead of 2 KiB of main CPU RAM at offset $0000 in CPU memory. FCEUX apparently uses mapper 256 for OneBus, and I intend to follow that precedent. In the NES 2.0 format, should this additional RAM be denoted as a submapper or as 2 KiB PRG-RA...

Re: Make a VT game work on nes

There is EmuVT, which is based on NNNesterJ, it will probably run the games. But EmuVT's accuracy for the base NES console seems a bit spotty, as it is based on NNNesterJ, which fell behind in accuracy as emulators improved. oh wow, because there is also a psp version of nesterj, could someone plea...

the reason why i think emuvt for portable devices would be cool is just to make the fandom easier and make the emulation more practical

whatever, if you want to be left alone from me forever, then you need to do a favour for me. Why would anyone here ever want to help you with anything after a comment like that? This is a hobby. We don't owe you anything. it wasn't me, who was rushing for this, it was my friend Makoto. i was happy ...
