Re: super mario all star levels

so can a cnrom be rewired, kind of like the panesians are rewired because the chr is 64kb. or could i pad to 512kb and then just straight solder in with a 27c512? No games yet released use the NROM-368 board. A few proof-of-concepts have been made, buried in the thread. Any NROM or CNROM romhacks th...

Re: super mario all star levels

what games use this board? "Train"ed games imply the presence of 512 bytes of RAM with pre-loaded contents, mapped from $7000-$71FF. If the game image doesn't use that area as RAM (i.e. doesn't write to it), you should be able to make a reproduction by making an C NROM-368 board. Otherwise, you'll n...

Re: nrom with chr ram

huh? i think i tried to drop a chr ram chip in with no rewiring and it didnt work As long as the cartridge connector has the gold-plated finger for the CHR /WR signal, transplanting in an 6264 RAM is pretty easy. But if it doesn't, you're probably better off getting an entirely new PCB made instead.

Re: mario in some usual day

nice, i didnt know you did this, ill try out this patch on real hardware soon. thanks! Wow, this game was jam packed in the constant banks... Get The Patches here. This patch oughta do it. All that's required is to erase the save before the first play. I'd love to fix that too, but I don't believe I...

Ill see if another wire will work. where do you get your wire? i usually get mine from IDE cables i get from the junk store. ok, what you say does make sense, kind of like how an electrical wire will loose amps the longer it is, but why would i get...

i was talking about the type of wire, i never switched it out, just replaced the chr ram chip ok, what you say does make sense, kind of like how an electrical wire will loose amps the longer it is, but why would i get the game working with some chips and not others when using the same wire? Mostly b...
