Re: ASM6 Operands?

I think that the only way to tell, is also between assemblers, and various opcodes between CPU types, such as 6502/6507/65c02/HuC6280/65(c)816/etc. Also... Like they said already, Syntax also applies to every CPU when using ASM code. Using your NESASM (is it using NESASM3 by chance?) code in ASM6/CA...

Re: Password requirements

There was nothing suspicious about me needing to reset my password. I probably just forgot it or used the wrong one. My post was meant to be objecting to the fact that phpBB's password rules have changed to forbid the style of password (actually passphrase) that I normally use. The XKCD post that I...

Re: Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic Disassembly

Also of note: there is a SMB2 USA disassembly, by Xkeeper and code contributed by user KMCK, on Github, of which may NOW be a good time to add some of the code to make a remake of DDP without using "pirate/messy code" methods! Kaiser failed to convert from FDS to NES (No SRAM code or Exter...

Re: Homebrew feels commercial by default now

I feel that way when I am doing some work on NES or SNES tests, or also some additional Romhacking tests for RHDN and SMWC, Not just NESDEV stuff, If they want to use it in a commercial product, I always put a notice to tell people that if they want to use my hacks, similar to one seen in the beginn...

Can you rerip or retrieve from the dead: "Wacky Races - Pirate POKEMON BLUE version" NSF rip as well?

I thought there was a rip here in NESDEV, but the original link to it from the original author is not active anymore seemingly!!!

Re: Gameplay suggestion: How to encourage the player to approach the enemies

I've got some questions: - What is the game's currently implemented "Currency" method? (for use in Anything) - New Game Plus, as in... Harder Maps, Harder Bosses, and Harder Dungeons. Almost some normal features should be now limited or gone depending on your ruleset, such as: Higher Enemy...

Re: Which programs to use

For CHR editor: Use the latest YYCHR .NET Editor, Should also work (but untested) on linux. A great second mention is on RHDN: there should be the latest Tile Molester (by toruzz of SMLDX/For the Frog The Bell Tolls DX fame), It is better for converting and editing tiles that YYCHR does not support....

Re: More NSF Requests

How about a music rip of the FDS prototype of Air Fortress, The FDS prototype has major differences between the final retail Japanese, Euroupean, and USA releases. 1) It (might) use a Different sound engine. (Not sure...) 2) It uses FDS sound originally 3) As of now the NSF is currently Unripped... ...

Re: More NSF Requests

Does anyone accept any Romhack NSF rip requests? If so, How about ripping music from "Bob-Omb Mario", please? There is already a music seperation IPS patch for this hack's music to apply for Super Mario Bros. 1 only on RHDN, so someone can rip that easily from that patch. https://www.romha...
