Re: M-Tee's Graphics Projects (Isolation, CG2, etc.)

Telephone is a game, it is also called chinese whispers. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_whispers In the game telephone the original message typically no longer resembles the last message, due to multiple minor changes. Myask example is how this occured with Fokkeru via sprite reinterpretati...

Re: Sega Genesis again in production in Brazil as of 2016

PAL-M is not really PAL though, it might even be possible to mod it to NTSC. Wow, I did not know that. Looks like it is nearly identical to a NTSC signal other than the encoding of the colour carrier. So it can technically work on NTSC TVs, but the picture will be in black and white. Not though the...

Re: Sega Genesis again in production in Brazil as of 2016

Too bad it is pal only. It doesn't appear to be emulation and the site claims it uses a 16-bit and 8-bit processor integrated on a single chip... I wonder if that means SMS games can work on the system.

Re: Someone has "solved" the Zapper issue with modern LCDs

This could be designed to look like a gun's silencer. Wii remote device sits in front of the barrel with the LED sitting between the barrel and Wii remote. Guy seems interested in trying to make this available to others if it could be done cheaply. Imagine if bunnyboy could manufacture this for ret...

Bring one of the screws to a hardware store and buy screws with matching threads.

Re: NES plastic cases with and without Nintendo logo

All of my third party games came with a black sleeve. The only ones that I had with the logo were from Nintendo. Keep in mind I only had a limited amount of games as a kid.

Re: puNES Emulator (ex Fnes)

I've been considering the name GENICIDE for a Sega Genesis version of NESICIDE for **ages**. 8-) godaddy...hmmmm...it's available. That would be awesome 8-). This would be the place to discuss it, if you did make an IDE for the genesis. NesCycle is also pretty name. Old-good Nesticle inspired, but ...

byuu wrote:Correct. Also on my forum, someone already converted every completed SNES translation from RHDN into a big BPS patch archive
I tried finding it and failed :( , how big is the download or do you have a link address? I would love to compare the file sizes between the IPS files and the BPS files.

Re: bsnes and headers

I take you as basically asking people to step out of their comfort zones a bit and give some things a try and really scrutinize them, so that the developers can fix problems and then put them out there again for further evaluation. Yes, but if they don't wish to step out of their comfort zones a bi...

Re: bsnes and headers

HDRodrigo, I'd like to apologize on my religion comment. I reviewed your comments in this thread and elsewhere and saw that it was just that one message that set me off. No problem, but thanks for the apology. It is fully accepted. You were referring to people as byuu's "friends" , which I interpre...

Re: bsnes and headers

Patch stacking with IPS and BPS are equally possible. BPS has a checksum to verify you applied the patch correctly. It's impossible to support an arbitrary list of patching and have checksums for them all. So if you want to stack patches, ignore the checksum. Problem solved... ...Looky there, a che...

Re: bsnes and headers

That's because you're pushing religion. Your own post focuses on people as well, with several scare quotes. Religon? I don't follow your logic, but yes my post is mentioning people because at first it was a discussion of BPS, then people brought their feelings about byuu into the discussion. It is ...
