That video was me, Jason, not Kevin/Kevtris.

I see this a lot and am unsure why there is so much confusion about who is who... lol

Re: ReproX: my $2 DIY repro pcb for simple mapper NES games

Can these ReproX Pcbs be used to repair/restore to life a game cart which was damaged beyond repair? Like move all the components over to the ReproX pcb, and set the appropriate jumpers to have it act as the same mapper silk-screened on the original PCB? Mostly no, the orignal prg and chr chips are...

Re: ReproX: my $2 DIY repro pcb for simple mapper NES games

This is likely the datasheet you need to read for the M27c1001: http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheet/SGSThomsonMicroelectronics/mXvtxx.pdf Page 3 table 3 shows the operating mode truth table, reference page 2 figure 2A, to which pins need to be pulled high or tied low. Notes at the bottom of th...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES

I can't recall if this was answered already, but with my HiDefNES install the audio enables are not saved when I power off the system. So each time I turn on the NES I need to remember to go in there and save the sound channels I've enabled. Is it possible to save these somehow, or is there some co...

ReproX: my $2 DIY repro pcb for simple mapper NES games Q&A

I'm gonna start this thread and link ppl to it that email me with questions so all can see and interact etc. About the ReproX pcb, it's my version of an all in one diy board for these discrete mappers: NROM, CNROM, Panesian CNROM, UNROM, UOROM, ANROM, AMROM, AOROM, BNROM, GNROM, and MHROM. It's for ...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES

So if my analog audio doesn't work, that means it's defective or they purposely disabled it for who knows what reason... Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with the nt to give you an answer honestly... That's completely understandable. But it doesn't disable the RCA audio on a stock NES or Famicom, cor...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES

So, I'm still a few days within the warranty for my Hi-Def NES upgraded Analogue Nt. It's a second run unit with composite video support--for which I only recently got the required video cable. I just found out the RCA audio jacks don't work. Analogue Support is trying to tell me Kevtris' HDMI upgr...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES

I'm using an AC Adapter that I got from the retro store that i got the NES from. It's made in China and has connectors for the both the SNES and the NES. It's center negative and outputs DC 10 V at 1000 mA. That junk adapter has been known to cause issues, try something else, can be anything 9v ac ...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES

Yikes! I just powered it on and when the Composite is added and I measured the voltage at the HDMI board where the two wires connect, I'm getting 12 V DC! Shouldn't this be 5 V, or does the kit board downconvert the 12 V to 5V? Are you using an original ac adapter? Shouldn't be that high, but yes t...
