Re: FDSStick (256M version) software question

Hi loopy,

Last time we meet in HK. I asked you about "PC Load" function. If I make a software can call your fdsstick.exe to send game, then it is nice. Wait to see what you can provide. Thanks.

Re: Game Doctor disks with FDSLoader

Thanks for your help. I have two more question. Hope you know the answer. 1) 6000-7FFF is save area for RPG games. But most games (need mapper) will use 7000-71FF to store some routines. Then, when the game need save data, it will damage the routines. Is there any other location can use to store the...

Doctor 6+ use CPU Cycle Counter. Do you have good routine to convert Line Counter to CPU Cycle Counter ? I saw Venus have one, but seems it is not very well. Thanks.

Re: Game Doctor disks with FDSLoader

Thank you very much for this valuable document. I own Game Converter 1M from beginning. At last, I own Game Master and Doctor 6+. I helped Venus dump game for their copier. But they don't give any document to me. So, your document is the best I ever seen. Although, now have better flash cart than ol...

Re: FDS Drive unable to save in-game data to disk

Ah, I forgot you mention it above. Yes, if it work with fdsstick mean pin 5 should be good. Then I have no idea why. Waitting for your test.

Yes, I nearly disassemble whole Copy Master v1.1 very long time ago. But no time to convert it to normal fds format. Too busy for this. Maybe later.

Re: FDS Drive unable to save in-game data to disk

Hello, You return your power board v4 to original still have problem. Then I believe your 7201 drive is no problem because you can write disk via fdsstick. Then I think maybe your ram adapter cable problem. One signal pin from pin 5 is "WRITE DATA". If this pin broken or bad contact, it will fault t...

Hello, I just checked your picture. It is same as me. You do the thing right. Strange, it is not work. About my V3 chip : V3 chip is better than V1 & V2 chip. 1) It no need to cut any wires on the Drive PCB. 2) It support both fdsstick and fdsemu. 3) It support Copymaster. 4) It support MGD1. 5) It ...

Re: FDS Drive unable to save in-game data to disk

Hi, I have some information to tell you. But it is not the same case as you. When I first touch about 3206 modchip some years ago, it is from Taiwan. It is quite good because it don't need to cut any wires on the drive board. Then I make my own 3206 modchip V1. It need to cut two wires. If I use my ...
