Re: Anyone Interested in a Combined NES + Gameboy Cart?

Is there any limitation(Everdrive has 512/512, so R4MI is out) on ROM size?

Re: Lagrange Point translation

Just wonder, why this

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/883356/VRC7_and_YM2413.ogg

and this

http://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php/File ... _intro.ogg

sounds so different? And how it will sounds, if you play separately?

Anyway i would prefer to hear opinion of Shiru.

Re: Lagrange Point translation

Don't attribute emotions to me. That's very rude, and has nothing to do with this. If you want to argue that the YM2413 and the VRC7 have the same internal patch set, you are just wrong, I'm sorry. We do not currently have a decap picture of the VRC7, but this is most refined version of the interna...

Re: Lagrange Point translation

But how different are they? Because if ultimately the underlying algorithms are similar then the point stands, it's still feasible. The algorithms are the same, VRC7 is a subset of YM2143. The problem is that the 15 built-in patches are custom for the VRC7. There's no way to modify a YM2413 to get ...

Re: Lagrange Point translation

YM2413 is widely avaliable and not that expensive to bother with fpga implementation.

Re: Correct Famicom AV mod

Huge circuit, lots of filtering, blurry picture as result. What are you talking about? Any circuit that doesn't kill chroma in a composite signal isn't going to appreciably blur the luma. Anyway, I tried his circuit in sim ; it has no appreciable lowpass effect. The -3dB corner is at 100MHz. Oh, go...

Re: Correct Famicom AV mod

So I wanted to perform the AV modification on my Famicom. Google led me to a few different places with quick hacky mods and all of them seemed to have to deal with the jailbars and the infinite number of ways to possibly fix them. I decided to ask the master himself (kevtris) and get the best solut...

Re: Help needed: Rockman 6-in-1 multicart hardware

I don't think there will ever be a PCB available because it's not cost effective. The best way is to use adapters. TSOP and SO chips are not expensive and after that use wires. I still didn't solved the audio issue in megaman 2. FARID teste it on a famiclone, maybe doesn't work right on an original...
