Re: Espitene

Sonic Mal was a short joke game for the multicart. Espitene is obviously based on the same premise, but uses a different engine and is a complete game.

Re: How did games usually do moving platforms?

My sollution is simple as moving platforms in my games just displace the main character. I do box collision with a rectangle going up a couple of pixels above the platform. If collision is registered I move the player alongside the plaform. I have a couple of variables (one per axis) to express disp...

Re: Espitene

Originally, the Labyrinth zone featured a free cover of Sunny Day (How to get to Sesame Street), but I changed it in one of the final revisions because I learned it's still copyrighted.

I will submit mine later, but I think that there are some games listed in the site which don't meet the requirement 3.

Re: Cross-platform build file?

I'm a lazy user of .bat files, as my NES related project build scripts are just calls to my custom command line converters and then four or five cc65-related oneliners. I know I'd better learn make, but its syntax (which seems to be designed to be written by some kind of crazy robot) just gets me on...

Re: Microgame compiler experiment (early WIP)

You can make great one-screen-at-a-time games, see Battle Kid games for a nice example :)
