Re: Akira MMC3 patch on real hardware

The MMC3 conversion is working fine on real hardware. Make sure you connect the SST39SF020 properly as in connect /WE to VCC and don't leave any inputs floating. PRG: Pin 1 -> NC Pin 2 -> Hole 24 (A16) Pin 24 -> GND Pin 30 -> Hole 1 (A17) Pin 31 -> VCC (/WE) CHR: Pin 1-> NC Pin 2 -> Hole 24 (A16) Pi...

Re: SNES SRAM Test ROM

If you want to properly test SRAM on a repro cart or whatever I suggest sanni's Cartreader. It can dump alot of carts as we as read and write new save files to the carts and detect the SRAM size from the game's header (or can be specified as well iirc). https://github.com/sanni/cartreader Can only r...

Re: Battlekid localized for japanese market

They never learn...
Freaking 3V3 ICs without proper regulation..
This is just sad.

SST39SF040 or SST29SF040 is the 5V equivalent and doesn't cost THAT much either.

Re: (SNES)Help With Circuit for LoRom M27C322

I have proper 27C322 (27C160 too) adapters for SNES carts made if interested. Took me a few attempts as well because even with the right schematic in mind I accidentally always misconnected /OE. XD

Re: Does EPROM Speed Matter?

If you need EPROMs and live in the EU or at least outside of USA/Canada (because shipping is not possible to them) I can sell you mine since I have no use for them anymore.

M27C2001 (EPROM) (29 available)
M27C4001 (EPROM) (43 available)

PM me if interested.

Re: Diagnose Broken Game - Metal Warriors

Do you get a video signal at all? If not, it's the CIC.
If you do get a video signal but just black screen, it can be bad connection or the MaskROM.
Clean the contacts perhaps?
