I think NESASM is good for a beginner who wants to quickly see a working result without spending much time on learning advanced topics like header format or config scripts.

To have a truly accurate emulator, we need to formally prove its correctness in respect to Visual2A03/2C02. Did you create a user by that name for this purpose? This is not the project I currently have, but my project is similar: I want to derive a provably shortest walkthrough of Super Mario Bros....

Turning rendering on/off midframe effects on picture

Hello.

Does anyone have precise information on how turning rendering on/off midframe affects the output picture?

(I don't have any hardware to test anything. Please don't direct me to the Visual 2C02; it is enigmatic.)
