Re: INL Megaman 5 strange issues

Oh it's a PAL rom playing on a NTSC NES? PAL runs faster than NTSC, so the slight timing difference could very well be causing the issue you're seeing. Nope, you misunderstood sorry. I initially tried the normal USA NTSC rom, and it did the whole deal I mentioned in the OP. Thinking it was a bad ro...

Re: INL Megaman 5 strange issues

That issue typically means the game is accessing the PPU before it's fully warmed up.. That doesn't make sense if it's an original unmodified rom though.. Is the rom original or does it happen to be hacked in any way? Do other games have similar issues? Nope, only game it's happened with, original ...

Is this software available anywhere still? The posts seem very positive and I'm having trouble writing to 8MB boards.

Re: How to pad/double SNES roms correctly.

In what position is the switch on your cart? What size of ROM are you using, and what is its mapping mode? $20/$30: LoROM (up to 4 MB or 32 Mbit) $21/$31: HiROM (up to 4 MB or 32 Mbit) $25/$35: ExHiROM (5, 6, or 8 MB, or 40, 48, or 64 Mbit) If you flash the 48 or 64 Mbit version of Holy Striker Bat...

How to pad/double SNES roms correctly.

Hello all, I'm using INL's programmer and boards, and I'm having issues writing to the 8 meg boards. I believe this is because I've been using Lunar Expander and it must not be handling the padding correctly for this file size. I'll flash the roms and I'll just get a black screen on my SNES. What is...
