Re: NESMaker Kickstarter - Make NES games without coding

Im going to create some retarded games for myself and in the name of science! There is tons of bad and some great homebrew games imo. This I dont think will change much as far as selling games unless you get a team together and work on a game for a few years. More skilled people in ASM Im sure would...

Re: NESMaker Kickstarter - Make NES games without coding

It uses UNROM mapper 30. There FAQ video gave me some of my answers I was wondering about. The Kickstarter is going up fast so I have no doubt it will reach all its goals and I like that because I wanna make a shump first. Hopefully it will do way over and we will have other mappers to use. I would ...

Re: NESMaker Kickstarter - Make NES games without coding

Ive paid $80 for GameMaker 2(when on sale) and its great so this is just amazing even if it cost a small fee. It cant be easy to script a complete engine like this. I dont know what the OP issue is. Maybe he should watch the documentary first before judging. Great idea and I will be backing this pro...

Re: HKROM as donor?

Thanks. I have a few extra copies of Startropics is why I ask. Curious if I can use them as a donor for more expensive required donor games for Mario 2,3 or Zelda hacks. Dont think there is any unreleased games that are HKROM.

HKROM as donor?

Anyone know if I can use HKROM StarTropics as a donor for games that use a battery? It says here its a MMC3 https://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php/MMC3 The Nintendo MMC3 is a mapper ASIC used in Nintendo's TxROM Game Pak boards. Most common TxROM boards, along with the NES-HKROM board (which uses the N...

Re: Repro cart stop working over time?

mechanical flexing? The board?
Was wondering if it was my 72 pin connector but other games work. Did notice there is a give a little when I pull games out but this repro feels loose.

I've fixed the 72 pin connector. Sigh... I need a top loader so I can test and know for certain.

Re: Repro cart stop working over time?

Used M27C2001 EPROMs. 5v right? Could it be the wires? Using Ethernet cable wires.

I'm going to resolder the wires. The 5v at least on both chips.

It's a TKROM for Mario Adventure.
