Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Hello! I have suggestions for the Uninstallation screen. After the part where it says that the console will become mostly useless, can you add that the console will still work? Some people have thought that the uninstall feature will brick their console(s). Also, since we now have another way to ope...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Okay, I've tried. It doesn't work on my DSi via wifiboot either. But it's working on my NDS via wifiboot. So it seems to be somehow DSi related. The Hello World is doing only three DSi register accesses (and DSi touchscreen reading, and either DSi or NDS SWI functions). If it's related to those rea...

devkitPro/dkArm/libnds homebrew wifiBoot issue
Gericom has tried booting some homebrew made with devkitPro/dkArm/libnds in wifiBoot, and they don't seem to boot.
Any chance of looking into this issue?
Also, some DSiWare such as Petit Computer, don't seem to boot in Unlaunch either.

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
The SWI functions in BIOS are a bit slow, but they should be stable. And, especially, they shouldn't freak-out in relation to the L-Button. That sounds more like a feature that is actually behaving different when pressing the button - or some timing problem where the button handling is affecting so...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
There seems to be a weird bug with DSiWare booting via args from homebrew. Sometimes, the DSiWare doesn't boot, but when a button is held (such as L), chances of the DSiWare not booting, are lowered, and thus, the DSiWare boots. Do you think it's a bug with the CRC calculation function from the BIOS...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Someone is trying to install Unlaunch 1.8, and got the unknown old firmware version error.
Is there any information that should be given?
Note that the user has always been on 1.4.5E.

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
So I tried launching Pictochat in the Unlaunch menu, and I got the "Communication error" message. Oops, thanks! I've somehow missed noticing that bug. But, yeah, happens here, too. I haven't tested if it does help, but it might be due missing channel flags in [2FFFCFA]. I don't have that initialize...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
So I tried launching Pictochat in the Unlaunch menu, and I got the "Communication error" message. I also tried DS Download Play, and while it seems to be working fine, it doesn't seem to find my DS console that's acting as a server. Both of these issues also happen when launched via a homebrew launc...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Hello! I have a feature request. How about having Unlaunch doing something, depending on a flag set in RAM? For example, if the word "THIS" is written to 0x02000330 by an app (ex. TWiLight Menu++), and then reboots the console, Unlaunch will boot "bootthis.dsi" without the need to hold X. Would make...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Hmmm, that seem to be all available only from those open source sites that are available only via https. I could try downloading them on another PC and then transfer them to my own computer... or is the power-button problem already fixed in v1.3? Nope, the problem is not fixed. btw, I uploaded DSiM...

Re: DSi unlaunch (bootcode exploit)
Found a bug when having homebrew named as "bootcode.dsi". The power button doesn't work, if set to IRQ. It only works when setting it to Auto-Reset. I don't recall the issue occurring in previous Unlaunch versions. The last change to power button was in unlaunch v1.0 (switching it power-button-IRQ-...
