Re: Mega Man 3 cover playthrough

The NSFs (both the original Notso/stereo one and a new mono one) are both included in the bandcamp download now.

edit: Spark Man's stage is AMAZING.
Thanks!

The NSF will be released later as the VRC6 volumes are way too loud (played this back in Notso so it's tuned to those settings).

Yeah I gotta say thanks too, nesdev was one of the first NES sites I found waaay back when and is part of the reason I got into chip stuff. Cost of hosting this site would cost next to nothing That's what I would think too, dunno about the wiki. I have my own site that uses a small fraction of the b...

Powerpak's NSF player won't play MMC5 NSFs

I didn't get any of those symptoms. Kirby could inhale fine. This was more along the lines of an actual freeze: music would freeze / continue doing what it was doing forever, all the graphics suddenly went BUHHHHH .. kind of like if you wiggle a cart around too much and some pins lose contact while ...

Nevermind, found this, loopy's 4th mmc3 mapper seems to work with no issues.

I have loopy's latest mappers. Kirby's Adventure screws up a lot on my powerpak.. I have the PRG0 and PRG1 versions of the ROM, both can't play correctly. Sometimes it's right at the beginning after the intro that it freezes, other times, just before level 1, kirby smacks the ground with his star an...

Actually PPMCK does support transposing with the "K" command. K<num> transposes <num> semitones. I did something like this awhile ago in vb.net that basically reads in a NSF file, separates the channels and makes each note/command an object, so it's possible to do whatever you want. The first thing ...

I wasn't really planning on making CDs or records. Records especially are hard to make for small projects like this because you end up having to order them in bulk. http://4x86.com/christmas.ftm is the FTM of the file.

Carols of the 2a03

http://4x86.com/cot2a03.gif Hey! I have a new Christmas album on bandcamp. Yeah it's a bit close to Christmas day (after which all Christmas-related music gets ignored for a year) but whatever. I'm hosting this on bandcamp and it's pay-what-you-want, so give me money or don't, whatever you feel lik...

I never really loved MM2's Wily 1 stage music. I actually liked the Wily 2 stage music more even though it was repetitive. It doesn't help that 90% of all Mega Man remixes are MM2 Wily 1. Needless to say I liked just about every song in MM3 more :P
