@clueless: disregard the PM you'll be getting from me. I went ahead and posted a notification in the brewery on NA for anyone there that may want to come.

Greyhound is an interesting experience. I actually rode on one for 20 hrs last year to the east coast. If nothing else, you'll certainly have some stories to tell once it's done.

Wooot! Woooooot! Damn, I haven't had a chance to look at this thread in over a day, and in that time it's exploded into twenty thousand megatons of kickass! (Yyyyyyep! I'm a dork.) So much to reply to: @clueless: that's cool, those SNES->USB adapters should work well. Then again, if memblers ends up...

Hey clueless, No prob on not staying at your spot. To be honest I didn't even think of that as an option and I completely understand your wife not being comfortable with it since we've never met. Thanks, though. It was nice of you to ask the Misses. I sent an email to the guy running the vendor area...

I've been thinking about it. I went last year while I was still living in Chicago just for Sunday and it was a lot of fun. This year I'm debating whether or not to set up a table to demo my game like I did at MAGFest. It all depends on how much the tables are and how confident I feel spending the mo...

This is such a cool-ass idea! Yar's Revenge is probably my favorite 2600 title, so I can't wait to get my hands on this once you render it in beautiful NES glory!

Sivak, Just looked at the schedule and saw that your panel is at 7pm. I believe I will be able to make that. My game (Assimilate) and Gradualore's (Nomolos) will be on my laptop to showcase. They're providing you with a projector like last year, right? Also, do you want me to meet you outside the pa...

I uploaded a new video of the latest progress today, which you can view either here or by looking at the first post in this thread. I also started up a wordpress blog to keep others up to date on the project's progress, which is here . There's not a lot that's visibly different in this update. I've ...

Interesting. Yeah, I was wondering why I couldn't find it using the standard search, even among hidden files. Just one more of those tidbits I'm accumulating.

Nintendulator Debug Question

Nintendulator has become my all-out favorite emulator for testing and debugging my projects. Is there a way, using Nintendulator, where I can generate a list showing the sequence of addresses that run on the Program Counter up to the CPU locking from a bad opcode? I've tried looking into the Dump CP...

The bullets coming from only 90 and 45-degree angles looks really plain though (and predictable). It might be interesting to look at a polar coordinate system to move the bullets (like on this video ). I learned how to do that from a demo posted by Chris Covell (should be on the main page). Just wa...

Or, with a flick of a graphics hack, to move around the world assimilating animals for uplift . It's a matter of perspective :-) Funny you should mention that, because one of the stages people have been pining for on NA (and that I will no doubt add toward completion) is a farm level where you abdu...

It's kind of reverse-defender. You control an alien probe named Ossan, who's mission is to move around the world assimilating humanity for eventual slavery. You have four tools at your disposal to do this. They are, from weakest to strongest, Brainwash, Zombie Virus, Plan 9, and Anal Probe. The stro...
