This demo looks (and plays) really nice. I look forward to seeing how this progresses. It really seems like there is a lot of games being developed for the NES homebrew scene now, and that makes me happy.

6 scan lines total? That's really good as far as I know. Even 6 scan lines per object doesn't seem too bad. Though I'm no expert
Here's a strange quirk with your game. Jump next to a wall while holding A. You fall faster than if you weren't holding A. I do know wall jumping exists which makes this being around a little stranger to me. Intentional or not? Not intentional, and it is a result of the wall jump (well, actually th...
For a status bar at the top of the screen, here's what you have to do... Cool thanks :) BTW, I was peeking at your code and it seems you have an NMI handler, but for some reason you trash X by reading from a variable and comparing its value to $02, but soon after you save A to the stack. If you had...

Wait a tick... Did I miss something? Because if this is the case I need to scrap my entire project and start over.Overkill wrote: "Word" is definitely a misnomer (since the 6502 word size is 1 byte)
EDIT: Nevermind, I misunderstood *wipes sweat from brow*
