For second time : I need to see the picture of the cartridge which is glop top to make a better imagination :D You already found that: How to find the chinese site Just click on the first Google result of the search you provided. PS: The search won't point you to the actual romdump, I was searching...

Re: Help needed: Rockman 6-in-1 multicart hardware

If you reread: The cartridge needs 2048kB for PRG and 512kB for CHR. CHR won't be hard to add, since 27C401 will be okay for that, but PRG is harder, and since my EPROM programmer is not capable of burning EPROMs with more than 32 pins, it would be best if the PRG ROM gets splitted in even+odd parts...

Farid, have you even read my first post? I knew all that and "some other TTL" is the main problem here. And no, I can't use 27C160.

I'm not against using programmable logic, as far as it's relatively easy to get the programming inside (I have a selfbuilt 74188 and 74287 programmer, if that helps, if not, here is what my Eprom programmer looks like, maybe it can be used to programm something different). CHR RAM is also not a prob...

Help needed: Rockman 6-in-1 multicart hardware

Since I found the dumped "Rockman 6-in-1" multicart I was thinking about recreating the cartridge on existing donor MMC3 board. But I lack the knowledge to figure out the additional hardware needed for it so I want to ask for your help. It shouldn't be very hard, as MottZilla, who helped me to make ...

Yes I'm aware of the wrong optimisation in those games, but I am used to the speed from my childhood since I was born in Europe, so I like that.

To the other part of your answer - may I ask somebody for help with that? Finding the mechanics of those patches and translate them to European Roms?

Convert IPS patch for (J) release to (E) possible?

Hi!
Is there a possibility to somehow convert these Rockman (J) 1 and 2 patches :
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/862/
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/863/
to work with the European (PAL) versions of Megaman 1 and 2?
Thanks for the answer!

After a long search based on an information that Rockman 6in1 cartridge was dumped before by some Chinese guys, I finally found it. It's much more accurate dump than I and MotZilla made, because it was dumped by a kazzo rom dumper. It's all there, the extra 30 lives in Rockman 3 and removed Capcom l...

Wow, 8 hours to dump a ROM? ..at least you can see how dedicated I am :) (and that's 8 hours just for the menu system to understand, add to that dumping of the next 5 games and you have a nice full-weekend job) The tape dump idea is definitely cool, but you guys do know it's only $2 in parts to int...

Very nice and clean soldering job you did there, with all the protecting tubes on contacts and everything! A pair of screw washers should make the connector less inclinable to breaking off the plastic. Looking forward to the cable's other end!

As you may have noticed a couple of posts earlier, MottZilla is helping me dump my Rockman 1-6 multicart. By tweaking the TapeDump itself, I was trying to dump each game by itself (128,256,384,512,512 and 512 kB) and by one tweak, I was dumping a data chunk of 768kB (containing the whole Rockman 3 d...

Can somebody help me with "ironing" the wav file recorded by Tapedump? I'm getting great results when the recording time is less than 1 hour, but at larger files, I'm getting decoding errors when using KCS to decode the wav file. I have done everything humanly possible to perfect my recording setup ...
