Re: SMB1 + SMB2J SRAM Plus (FDS hack)

I'm doing one more post for now comparing the pics of the original with the SMAS revamp. I'm doing this rather than editing my last post because I can only have 3 pictures per post and it wouldn't let me do more (I don't feel like signing into Photobucket and logging on using FB and all that now, si...

Re: SMB1 + SMB2J SRAM Plus (FDS hack)

I had the leaves upside down before. Turns out that the SMAS does this for some odd reason. I'm not sure if the routine in that version uses more frames or not. But here it is NESized to it's fullest potential. I'm also attaching an SMAS shot to be compared. This build will be v1.2 and released alon...

EDIT: Do you mean that you'd like the wind to have the red texture of SMAS?
I was inspired to try it....What do you all think? I ripped the leaves straight from the SNES SMAS version and recolored it accordingly. Thoughts? --ShaneM, the Master of ASM

Re: Geography

If it bothers you then why watch/hear/read the news then ? Since it's almost guaranteed to be complete bullshit just don't pay attention : Problem solved. (Personally I just follow the politics more or less, because they matters, but I don't care about the rest) There is no reason to troll nesdev b...

You were the one who started this by saying "ALL" Americans are uneducated (which sounds like emotions to me). So don't start a debate if you can't continue it. --ShaneM

Re: Geography

tepples The way I see it is, feminism has no productive goals at all. It is just a bunch of women who gather and complain that they want more (than equal) rights. They have no solutions for women overseas in the Middle East who truly suffer from male dominance and rape. They have no plans of finding...

Re: Geography

The difference is that it's okay for men to be sexually driven. It's biologically in our instincts and is a mechanism we evolved with to reproduce and continue our 'seed'. Perfectly normal. --ShaneM Is it not okay for women? They're half of it, if you know what I mean. Espozo, it all comes d...

Re: Geography

Women are "bitches" because the media keeps putting fear in their heads that men are perverted animals that obsesses about having sex with every woman he meets. What, you mean you don't? (just kidding!) In the traditional sense of relationships, it's true that men are more sexually driven rather th...

Re: Geography

I understand what you're trying to say, but maybe you could have done it in a calmer tone? I can tell that you are still young. I have age under my britches. I've experienced the world and have calumniated my opinion based on what I see. I apologize for the language I used but I get upset about thi...

Re: Geography

You're really pushing it buddy. (And yes, I did read the whole thing. It was a bit entertaining actually.) Okay. Then can you please correct me in what I said wrong? My argument seems solid. What I said has to do with how the media has molded Western women (that includes Europe, Canada and South Am...

Re: Geography

It's offensive because you said "all". [...] so please be careful when choosing words such as "all". The problem is that Western women in general are all bitches    Now you're trolling. "All" and "in general" are two different things. I've backed my statement up by a solid argument. ...

Re: The Nestopia guy

I hate the liberal media. Every single news story is anti-men propaganda. The problem is that Western women in general are bitches. They're stuck up, feeling their god's gift to men just because they have a pair of breasts and a vagina. Feminism is evil in that it promotes female superiority rather...

Re: SMB1 + SMB2J SRAM Plus (FDS hack)

Nevermind, it worked for me. But for some reason, I don't see the color changes of the levels like on the pictures. I came on both games to 2-1 and still no flying leaves or whatever it is or pallette changes other than of the original SMB. Except for Mario's new pallette and lava in underground. D...

Re: The Nestopia guy

Well, to be honest, I've never really felt the whole "American and proud" thing. Maybe this seems a bit ignorant, but although America is far from perfect, there a certainty far worse places to live. It seems like a lot of the problems people bicker about a present in a lot of other countries, but ...

Re: SMB1 + SMB2J SRAM Plus (FDS hack)

The checksum utility doesn't support CRC16 anymore! What now? Would you like an older build of it from my library which contains CRC16? I can upload it if you'd like. It seems that the newer builds remove it in place of CRC64, as well as other features. --ShaneM, the Master of ASM EDIT: If you pref...
