Re: SD2SNES is dead; long live FXPAK

Instead of calling it the FXPAK call it the "Solid Drive 2 SNES" this way in the communities you can still say SD2SNES and people will still know what your talking about.

Re: Alien Isolation

I did a youtube video of my playing experience. If you really want to make the game a little more player friendly I would suggest the following: - Add more crates (hiding spots) - Maybe make the players run speed a little faster - Maybe add some powerups like (stun gun, food as bait, invincibility) ...

Re: New Super Mario Land

It seems like everyone got excited about this and I can't blame them because it is cool to see a full snes homebrew game released albeit a port of a gameboy game. My main problem that I have with the game is the lack of polish. Sure it's kind of fun to play this, but Mario's jump mechanic needs some...

Force Bot - A brand new game for the NES [homebrew]

Hi everyone, this is a very special project of mine as I've been wanting to make a NES game for a long time now and finally this dream has come true as the game is now 100% finished. The name of the game is Force Bot and you play as a small robot who pushes crates. Here is the title screen. https://...

Re: Why preserve video games?

Video game preservation is important because video games are a part of our culture and progressively show how our technology has changed over time. Also preserving something has more value in it rather than not preserving. You can always learn from the past, but if the past isn't recorded then you c...

Re: Keeping your eyes on the size

You should make a music player out of it and have that wave animation fluctuate with the music.

Re: Nova the Squirrel 2 (WIP)

One thing that I found is that if you fall down the screen such that you re-appear at the top of the screen. Then when you swing your tail, no you longer shoot that star out.

What is a good gameboy emulator

I downloaded a few emulators and some GBA ones, but I didn't find anything I liked.

Just for reference, I like the NES FCEUX emulator for the NES.

Love it. Keep up the great progress. It seems like there is hardly any SNES dev going on so this is exciting to see.

Re: Hello Kitty: Terroristic attacks in the Hong Kong Mall

Most I got was 7. The game is fine, but you are a kitten who has a bomb strapped to himself and killing yourself along with other people right? LOL Maybe add more levels with more people in it and you have to get a minimum an order to get to the next level. Also the news ladies face apparently start...

Re: Mutant Sewer Girls

I played Mutant Sewer Girls. It was actually pretty decent. Here are some thoughts. - The music loop could probably be improved upon. It got a little strange sounding after 10 min 0_0 - The character probably could use some acceleration as the jumps as all the same. - The pickle jar icon that shows ...

Re: Nova the Squirrel 2 (WIP)

Love the progress that you are making with this. Again if you allow people to use your SNES homebrew tools to make their own games then we might start seeing a some really cool new content for the SNES.
