Re: NES Emulator that logs?

Also, do you maybe know how to make a log that starts at the beginning of the program, instead of the middle of the program execution? This is one way: Load the game (File | Open...) Pause the game (Machine | Pause) Reset the game (Machine | Reset) ← nothing will happen since it's paused Start the ...

That's odd. I don't recall that. Can you provide a few samples lines?

Does anyone know such emulator?
Also, any advice on my errors is apreciated. ;)
How about Nintaco?

What was the bug? Maybe the test ROM can be enhanced.

Does your emulator pass all the CPU tests then?

Re: Mapper 036 and the Zapper

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

Is it possible that the grayscale flag affects color $00 in a way that it renders it much darker on real hardware compared to what we currently do in emulation?

Mapper 036 and the Zapper

I ported the NintendulatorNRS implementation of Mapper 036 to my emulator. All the games seems to function except for Strike Wolf . Visually it looks fine; however, it does not properly respond to the Zapper trigger. It looks like the white rectangle masks are not scanning the entire screen. I suspe...

Re: Nintendulator-NRS github repo

I chose to end NewRisingSun's source hoarding (at least for now) and release his full current codebase That's not very nice. Quietust never put his source in github, as far I'm aware. NewRisingSun voluntarily became the new custodian of that code to further the project and in doing so, he created t...

You're right. I missed that. I'll study this further. Thanks.
That did the job. Thanks.

Yikes! Does that mean there is software available on floppies for that Subor PC? Or, are the floppies just for saving?

DANCE2000 extra registers

I noticed that the NintendulatorNRS implementation of mapper 518 (UNL-DANCE2000) uses a few registers not mentioned in the wiki . Register $5300 is DAC sound samples related. And registers $5500 and $5600 is for some sort of data persistence. I am particularly interested in the data persistence mech...

Re: COOLGIRL

I don't know how to test the FCEUX implementation. If it actually works, could someone explain how it reads from the flash array?
