Re: Who do you consider to be the snesdev/scene gurus?

@byuu: Hey. Maybe you can fill the gaps koitsu is missing? Like, when did you decided zsnes emulation was not good enough? @koitsu: I got more questions for you later, if you don't mind? BTW: With all due respect, what is no$cash standing in snes emu history? I know he is very important for the GB/G...

Re: Who do you consider to be the snesdev/scene gurus?

Wow. Thank you so much for this :!: :!: :!: There's a lot to digest here, but here are some of my initial questions, if you don't mind answering: 1. At the very beginning, where there any concerns about the legality of what you were doing? 2. At the beginning, what was the goal for the group? 3. At ...

Re: Who do you consider to be the snesdev/scene gurus?

When you say "snesdev/scene", I need to know what timeframe you're talking about. Were you wanting details covering all of the time periods as a lump sum, or just certain timeframes? I have a short write-up covering the former two scenes, specifically mentioning names of people who were important/c...

Re: bsnes-mcfly: The v073 and bsnes-classic killer

This is a Higan general question:

Where can I find the enums used in the "settings.bml" that represent the keyboard-keys/input?
The format is "0x1/0/35". I specifically need the source of the last number.

Thank you.

Re: Nebs & Debs

Here's some half-baked quick edits to show some possibilities i could think of on top of my head. Hope it isn't too intrusive. -darker leaves may help separate them a bit more from the brighter ground blocks. -a bit added shade whenever they're placed to the right of or below a solid block (i did t...

Re: bsnes-mcfly: The v073 and bsnes-classic killer

I want to try and compile this, but I have no idea.
Can someone give me a quick tutorial on makefiles?
As I understand, they only work natively on Linux. For Windows, I need something like CygWin?

Re: Removing/Disabling music but keeping sound effects

What is the most common method for implement sound effects in games? Mute whatever music channel(s) are needed while the sound effects play. Different sound effects will want to use different channels, or multiple channels; it's too restrictive to force them onto one. Won't this cause "hiccups" in ...
