Recently I'm aware of portability in programs... Any (free?) portable C++ IDE for GUI programs(wxWidget?)? And also, rather than using DirectX and DirectSound, anything portable that do basically this? (Allegro? SDL?)
Anything please and simple if possible, also thanks

that reminds me something...
because BRK is treated as a 2 byte instruction, it pushes PC+2 and when RTIing the byte next to BRK is ignored. That extra byte can be used as a parameter in the IRQ/BRK handler. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRK

And it looks like I'm going to have to really study how all the sound really works, because I just realized I don't quite get it. As far as I've been concerned since I've learned how to work with the sound regs, you just plop a value in and it makes a sound. And plus, I always just set the register...

Battery saves are not reliable at all What the hell are you talking about??? I don't know for Europe games, but I do have Zelda and Kirby and they save flawlessly games even if I never changed the batteries, regardless of what I do with the power button.
