Hey, I just started getting into NES development, I was trying to program a text rendering thing, when I ran into a problem.
The text that's written in "RESET:" is written horizontally, but anywhere after that, it gets written vertically.
I have no idea why, the same code is used between the two writes.

A horizontal or vertical VRAM increment is selected by the last write to $2000.

Pretty much every side-scroller uses +32 mode to write new columns of tiles that are just coming into view. See the animation at PPU scrolling.
