making a wai wai repro

Hi Guys,

I Want to make a wai wai world repro (3th try :s)

I applied translation patch and programmed the chr and prg and bought a famicom to nes converter.

Is there somebody here who can easily explain which pins I have to rewire to which holes?

I've already made repro's using regular boards, but konami boards are always a pain in the *ss.

If you have a multi meter by hand, check the connections from PRG/CHR ROM to the VRC.
Pinouts are all on the Wiki.

Hi thx,

I've found this rewiring VRC4 mapper 23

PRG
pin1 -> lift and leave floating
pin 2 -> hole 24
pin 24 -> GND
pin 31 -> 5V
pin 32 -> 5V

CHR
pin1 -> lift and leave floating
pin 2 -> hole 24
pin 24 -> GND
pin 31 -> 5V
pin 32 -> 5V

But because I have a VRC4 mapper 21

I also have to this:

(fr) CPU A2 -> |03 38| -> PRG A15 (r)
(fr) CPU A1 -> |04 37| <- CPU A12 (f)

 Can somebody just explain what this means? This is the only thing I'm missing I think? Is this correct?

Pin 3 and 4 of VRC are different with some mappers/boards.
Just compare your board on the wiki with what the original board is and wire them accordingly.

Ok thx but I'm a total noob here. For example the last piece of my previous post I have to do something with pin 3/4 or hole I have no idea, but can't somebody here tell me exactly what to do with it 🤗?

Now check your PCB type and compare. Solder Pin 3 and 4 accordingly.
