NROM and CNROM -- Where to Start?

Hi all,

I am new to hardware and was just wondering where a good place is to start in order to understand how cartridges hook up to the NES. Are there any published schematics for NROM or CNROM? Ultimately my goal is to learn how to create my own board, but I would like to first try to replicate one of these boards (CNROM) first on a breadboard.
