how to start the nesicide in linux ?

hi , I just joined and i'm thinking of trying some nes coding
eventually I plan on disassembling a z80 based arcade game and porting it to the nes once ive got used to the nes hardware
ive seen the nesicide package looks like a great all in one ide, i'm using linux mint but i'm not sure how to run the program
