Sprite Time/Range Over Test ROM

Post by jwdonal »

Anyone know of any existing sprite time/range over (i.e. register $213E STAT77) test ROMs? Just curious. If not I'll just make them myself but thought I might as well ask.

Some of Nintendo's test carts ("Burn-In Test" and "Aging Cassette") test both of those flags in succession (first range over, then time over). "OBJ L OVER" passes if they both have the expected values.

I'm not aware of any more detailed/interactive tests for those.

Excellent! Thanks!

Btw, anyone have any idea what the "L" stands for?

Good call, that's probably right.
