What's up with Search?

Post by WedNESday »

It doesn't seem to be working. Not matter what your search for. Sorry if this is a waste of time.

Searching for author works fine though, maybe something to do with the database encoding?

That's a pretty serious problem. I'm not sure what's up with that yet. Until it gets fixed, you could try using Google by putting site:http://nesdev.com/bbs/ in the search field with your keywords.

Have that mod installed, and you'll be able to rebuild the search database (and hopefully fix the problem).

The search must be hacked or something because it won't let me search for excitebike.

If you had bothered to actually read the thread, you would know that the entire search feature is nonfunctional. Use your brain a bit, it helps a lot.

This is what I'm getting here.

This topic seems to draw more spam replies than any other. When an admin finally gets around to installing the mod that Quietust mentioned, then we can unlock this topic.
