Are you sure you are not jargon? You're acting an awful lot like him...

I saw nothing wrong. We're discussing Engrish, and ironfist wrote about Engrish. Please keep the sockpuppet accusations to private messages.

Agreed.

I'd rather do it here, because at the same time I'm letting him know there are people suspecting of him, it serves as a heads up for anyone who by any chance hasn't noticed.

I asked him an honest question. Instead of worrying about what I say and where I say it, you guys should be watching ironfist61 instead. Just a suggestion. He seems pretty quiet though. Strangelly enough, youknowwho also had alternating bursts of activity.

Sorry to get off-topic, I was even gonna let this die, but since you brought it up... Anyway, I'll say no more. I just felt I should explain why I said it here. I'm a very direct person who likes to keep things in the open, and exchanging accusations through PMs is the exact opposite of that. Talking behind people's backs just feels like a dirty thing to do.

It would be foolish to access from a same PC or access point; that's why ISPs are different.

So you want to discuss this in the open. I'll discuss it in general terms.

Is there any way to prove that two user accounts do or do not belong to the same person if they're used from different /16s?

Well, I don't really want to discuss anything. I merely wanted to make my suspicion known, and I did it. There is really nothing to do as long as ironfist61 doesn't show improper behavior. Let's just hope it continues like this, but let's keep our eyes opened.

I have no way to know that... They could probably be tracked down to the same area, and not many of us live close to each other. Of course this is not a definitive answer, but could help make the suspicion more solid, if they are proven to be in the same city or so. For now, I don't think this is important.

[OK. I screwed up the split. A post by Roth should be here. -- MOD]

OK. I asked a simple, valid question to he guy. He didn't answer, and I remained quiet until you guys started making a fuss over this. If you ask me, the drama is on you who are making a big deal out of this.

I didn't confront anyone. It was supposed to be just a friendly "we're watching you, dude", I never expected such commotion. Don't worry anymore, in the future I'll do my best to stay away from the drama-related subjects (more and more common everyday) unless it's something directly related to me (which I hope will never happen). Lesson learned.

I sincerely apologize for being responsible for the last few dramatic posts. And since a more interesting 32-byte string was already found, this topic could even be locked, to prevent anymore drama.

- I am going to buy my fake hair, my sunglasses and the cigarettes then. Anyway, that guy is taking the risk of remaining silent... and someone here is taking the same error of "not breaking any rule and still being a moron".

:D I liked the thread's title! Now we can all wonder about the state of the zero flag!

The problem is NOT "who cares". It was hard to convince about jargon's annoying pattern, as "not breaking any rule" or "trolling for side discussions". If he's banned, it was expected his return under other nick, and smart to avoid ISPs.

Firstly, yes, the name of this topic is awesome haha

Secondly, the best motto to follow when trolls are involved is: "Don't feed the troll," from my experiences, anyway. This is the only reason I kinda stoodfast on the subject.

By the way, I hope I didn't offend you Tokumaru, I don't want you to think I was trying to belittle you or anything dude.

Personally, I don't think it's jargon. Aside from the grammar and general personality differences, there was a glimmer of intelligence behind jargon's ramblings, and I'm just not seeing that with this guy.

Don't worry. I'm not that interested in this jargon thing to get upset over it. =)
