I don't know, but is it just me or did the perspective got a little screwed up when "parodius" was removed from the URL? If the author still has the original files and tools he could fix that.

I have a faint memory it was "mankeli" (nick on this forum).

Thanks, it's for the game box I'm working on. In hindsight though, I probably didn't need to seek permission for that exact logo. I might just have to recreate a less 3d slanted one, for composition reasons (being next to the NintendoAge logo).

I do like the logo rendition by Tokumaru found in the wiki.

Heh, I didn't even remember I made that! It isn't even 3D, just vectors with Photoshop touch ups... don't know if I still have the files.

Time to make an improved one which we can put into place! Needs to be 256x128 to match the old one. PNG with transparency would be nice too. ;-) I like how I'm volunteering tokumaru for work he hasn't even agreed to do, hahaha.

Hahaha I can do it if I find the files from the last try, but if I remember correctly, the consensus back when I first presented the alternative was that the logo should be kept retro, which meant no anti-aliasing or lighting effects, so we simply kept the old one.

Mods: if this question is off topic, feel free to move it to it's appropriate place.

Ok so today I finally got around to doing some work on the box.
Will this 2d-ified logo be ok to represent nesdev? It had to fit in squarish area.

I'm a little bit bothered that NES is written as "Nes" instead of "NES". I know it has been that way for ages, but still. :)
