Actually I just search for the character "碁" from the list of games in Wikipedia:
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ファミリーコンピュータのゲームタイトル一覧
(It seems that the url tags have some problem with links containing CJK characters. Just copy the whole line with text selecting.)
Haven't really counted it, but it's safe to assume there were ~10 of such games, with a number of them being revisions(such as how sports games updated their data every year).
For example, the aforementioned Igo Shinan was actually released in 1989, with '91, '92, etc. versions that followed. Note that the word "Shinan" just meant "Instructions/Tutorial", so it's expected that they contained just replays of games. (There're also probably many books called "Igo Shinan" for obvious reasons, so these "games" may be based on one of these books, yeah.)

Hmm...this is strange. According to the hex editer in FCEUX Hayauchi Super Igo doesn't seem to be using the stack at all except for NMIs. I think I am gonna look into this since the game is CNROM and only 32 KB, not 512 like I originally thought

That Fami cart is probably the one to look at for more complexity, but someone happened to do a little roundup of 6502 implementations of Go:

Yes, but it has an AI, too.
