I've been thinking about a small(?) project. If it existed, would anyone be interested in a "real" printed unofficial nesdev-manual? With printed I mean "professional-printed" in book-format (perhaps A5-size) with such covers that makes it easy to turn pages without the entire book closing if you have it on your desk etc.
Perhaps I am the only one interested in a "complete" manual? Or?
I know there are tons of documents floating around but it would be nice to have a complete manual with everything important in one book.
I've got the possibility to print such books really cheap (even in colour if required), so the big task is to create the manual itself. :)

Anyone have any thoughts about this idea?

I would definitely be interested in something like this. Would be nice to have everything you need right there in front of you on the desk without fumbling through a whole bunch of papers to find what you're looking for.

I have been interested in something like this before, not to print out though, and certainly not to pay for.

Right now, the documentation effort is taking place on the new wiki. If you see gaps, please help fill them in.

If this project ever would become a reality, it would of course, be a "non-profit" one.

I took all the NES documentation I could find, printed it up, punched holes and put it all in a binder. I find it invaluable when I'm working on a NES game. Maybe we could all just list the documents we find useful and compare notes. Of course there are lots of details in the posts on this forum which can't be found anywhere else. I also printed up lots of 6502 code documentation.
