Post subject:  Making roms with DASM

I'd like to write my NES roms with DASM from now on.
Just for testing purposes, I obtained a small nes demo written from DASM, but I do not know how to assemble it specifically targeted for the NES. Anyone have any ideas of what parameters to use etc.? Thanks.

There isn't a way to specifically target NES. You just have to get it to make a raw binary (if it doesn't by default, there should be a command-line option).

Then you'll need to either put the iNES header in your source, or copy it onto the rom afterwards.

It's been a long time since I used DASM, I can't remember how everything worked though.
