Having stairs you can't interact with is a bad idea... I'd just remove them in that case.

Made several improvements to the library tileset and working on enemies. Hopefully the varied bookshelf heights and lighting will be enough to create interesting levels. Instead of sliding down a flag my plan is to collide with a hovering book sprite to signify the end of a level/chapter. I'm obviously borrowing from SMB 3.

The bookworm will be a "goomba" and the bookmark will work like a piranha plant. The spider and ghost may get ditched since they will need custom movement routines. I am also thinking of adding a librarian that throws books, like the hammer bros.
