Shaolin Soccer (Goal 4)

Post by mafuta »

Image
This is a modification of the original game Kunio Kun no Nekketsu Soccer League (Goal 3)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-_wAfc7F4k
modified emulator: https://vk.cc/8Z8c3w
game: https://vk.cc/8Z85qQ

Unfortunately there is no campaign in the game, there is only a network mode, up to 12 players.
Pans have new fields, new teams and more. We will be happy to know your opinions and suggestions

Could you write a bit more about what you've done here? That .nes file is 10 MiB and has a very dubious header.

It is obviously a sort of modified NES. Indeed it would be nice to know exactly what are the differences.

This game seems interesting.
I've not played the emulated package yet, just saw the video.
Any chance of playing it on real hardware?
I really doubt it!!

edit:
This game remembered me this movie.
Did the original author got some inspiration from it?

There are three of us. I made a new schedule, the second guy worked on rum, the third - on the emulator. Therefore, I will not be able to describe in detail the technical differences. Rom is completely redesigned and expanded, a place is reserved for new teams (30+) and new graphics. Modification of the rom and emulator allowed to add more palettes and remove the blinking of sprites (original game problem) etc.) I wrote to our romhaker, maybe he will write in more detail when he is sober :)

I will not say for sure, but it is hardly possible to cram it into the original Famicom.
The similarity of the movie "Shaolin Soccer" and the game Goal 3 has long been noted by fans. We really want to add characters from the movie to the game as the Chinese team. But for now these are just plans.
Sorry for my English, I am writing through a translator.
