dip36-tsop40 mkiii on a 32pin board HELP

Post by rocklite »

Hi recently ran into some donors that I noticed had 2 dip32 slots and a mad-1 decoder. Short of soldering and possibly desoldering 64 points i was hoping someone may have some info as to whether or not these boards will work instead of the windowed 1mb 27c801 chips i normally use on boards with only 32 holes... the dip36-tsop40 converters seem to have all the same addresses. Curious about there limitations when used this way as well... please help.
