Post subject:  SNES: communication between ROM and PIC

For SNES:
I'm searching a way to use a Rom address line to interact with a PIC MCU.
I'm wondering if writing to a particular register could make an address line pulse.

I'd like to establish a link between the rom and a pic so I may count

I want to write a homebrew menu to count how many time the d-pad is pressed.
Each time I press the d-pad i want to generate a clock to an address line wich would be connected to the pic (not the bus)
This way the pic would count the pulses from the rom.

Thanks

The Reproduction sub-board is for people trying to make reproduction cartridges of existing commercial or romhacked games. You're trying to make your own new homebrew title, not a reproduction.

Your other thread was placed in the SNESdev board, which is about SNES-related things (mainly software, but not always!), so it's fine to be there.

You could have alternately put it in the main NES Hardware and Flash Equipment forum, which is mainly about NES but does sometimes talk about SNES. Hardware folks tend to hang out there and can give you advice. But they also tend to hang out in the SNESdev board. So either place would be fine.

As such, this thread should be locked; the other one you made is good! We don't like duplicate threads, all they do is confuse.
