Is there an alternative way to wire SLROM boards? I have a rom, it is MMC1, It splits into 2 files, prg/chr, so it is a SLROM board.....When I wire it up by the directions below, The title screen works fine, but when you start the game, the screen will screen will just go blank. The rom works great on the pc. I have tried 3 different SLROM Boards, and they all do the same. I have also tested other MMC1/PRG/CHR games, and they work great on the boards, but this one does not. So I was just wondering, is there an alternative to below? Thanks!

SLROM (mapper 1):
PRG socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 24 to GND (OE)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
CHR socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 22, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 22 to hole 31 (CE or CHR /A13)
Solder pin 24 to hole 2 (OE or CHR /RD)

If your game exept SRAM, and runs on a SLROM board without SRAM (typically if is was something like SAROM, SJROM or SKROM), it is normal that it crashes. As long as you don't tell us the name of the game in question or if you don't verify it yourself on the board table (google something like "boardtable+SLROM"), we will be able to do nothing to help you.
All SLROM boards are wired the same way, so I assume your game isn't compatible with the SLROM board.
