Opening Bandai Famicom carts

Post by kaliki » Mon Feb 01, 2021 9:44 pm

Hi, I wonder if someone more experienced than me could give me some advice in opening Bandai carts like the dragon ball z ones
I managed to open without damage lot of carts with the proper tool but these banday carts damn seem superglued together
Wonder if they got some screw under label or different tabs
Thanks for help

No, just ordinary clips on the upper part of shell. Squeeze upper part with clamp.
Because the center bolt hoes all the way up to the PCB and there is almost zero play for it to bend when opening, there is high chance you will break the center pin.

Thanks for tip I managed to open it!
I had to use little flat screwdriver to open tabs the clamp was not enough
I cutted with hand saw the center bolt in order to save top label
