Game Genie database

Is there a license free Game Genie database available that can be plugged into emulators? I found a few collections online, but they appear to have been scraped from copyrighted materials (mainly Galoob Toys).

Galoob's web page from 1996 is available from the Internet Archive. Their online NES Game Genie codes database says, "This file may be freely distributed for PRIVATE, NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY as long as it is not altered and all text remains intact." That said and also considering that the NES Game Genie patents expired years ago and that Galoob itself no longer exists, it is probably safe to provide access to Galoob's code database from within an emulator.

Supposedly, Hyperkin picked up the brand name and created this.

I'm going to interpret the sentences within Galoob's 1996 file as similar enough to an open software license. In the worse case scenario, someone from Hasbro or Hyperkin will send me a C&D at which point I'll drop the feature.
