nocash wrote:Anyways, forget about questions like "Where are the mapper files?" for now. Your current task is to read and understand those python tutorials. If you are done with that, then you could perhaps write a program that calculates "How much is 35+21?"
You make the mistake of assuming that he will actually take tepples' advice and start to learn to program, step by step. He will not do it. He isn't interested in learning anything. He won't go over a Python tutorial to learn what variables, loops and conditions are. He wants his mapper support and that's all he cares for.

I really think that it is a chatbot, it's just parrotting what we are saying, and then resumes with its original question. I just don't know if it's a multibillion dollar product from cia.google.gov, or perhaps a homebrew project by a nesdev member. Maybe some improved revision of this thread https://forums.nesdev.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17646 ?

Well, if it's a chatbot, someone's really giving it their all, because they've also shown up on some Discord channels, on Github, and also sent some e-mails (at least, they sent me one)

Can we please just make this end? I'm honestly getting tired of seeing new posts of this several times a day - they've posted an average of 5 posts per day since registering, and every single post was to ask the same thing over and over.

People have been excessively generous with their time already and you guys have done a lot to try to help, but I feel like this will not end until someone actually implements the mappers to the emulator, and nobody is willing to do so (for good reason!).
