The NES palette in the Wikipedia

Post by Zepper » Thu Feb 04, 2010 6:52 pm

- Here's the page. It's pratically the same palette I created for RockNES, except for very minor differences. When I load such palette, you don't notice any changes, only if you compare two screenshots side-by-side.

- I wonder who wrote such article and got that palette...

Looks like it was added by the article creator, a Ricardo Cancho Niemietz: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... on=history

From the article: "For specific models of videogame consoles, simulations of how the sample image would render in different graphic modes are provided, if available."

But there isn't one for the NES, just a no-dithering conversion into indexed color using the RockNES palette. I'd like to see how the NES would handle that bird with the 16x16 pixel attribute table limitation.
