Forgot the name of the game

Post by Saurabh » Sun Mar 22, 2020 3:07 am

Hi,

I used to play a game on NES back in 90's, the diskette had 4 games in total, of which I remember 3, i.e. GI Joe: A Real American Hero, Werewolf - The Last Warrior, and D.J. Boy. There was a fourth game as well...it started with the main character speaking to a saint, and then heading to the mission...I think the game had a Japanese theme set up. I don't remember the name of this game, and have been searching the internet from past 2 weeks like crazy, but no luck at all.

Would any of you know the name of that game?

I did manage to find the image of the lead character, and have uploaded it at the link below.

Thanks a lot!
Saurabh

The links is invalid. It is the directory of your dropbox.

You will have to create a shared link for it.

If someone ever wants to look for another NES game again, you merely need to invest 45 minutes to watch this video:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=JueI4bsctgQ
Or SNES: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYvvUUSRczY

If you don't find it there, here's a longer video with actual gameplay:
NES: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQj4KItYo94
SNES: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aAsqUkTKLs

Although, be aware that the second group of videos only have the officially licensed games while the first videos also have unlicensed and prototype games.

These videos are a great to find unknow/forgotten games!!
Any idea if there are these kind of videos for other systems like the Atari 2600 and PC Engine?
I'm specially searching for an Atari 2600 game wich one or 2 guys were going down with ropes killing enemies, just like on the NES Battletoads 2nd stage.

There's this video with most 2600 games, including homebrews:

The only only rope-swinging game I can think of that also has vertical movement, would be Spider Man. But that's climbing upwards. I watched that video up to the 'C's, there's a lot I had not seen before.
