I have an archon prototype cartridge with a uneprom board. It was probably a review copy. The eprom is soldered on. It is in good working condition. Since I have not gotten my copynes yet, I have not dumped the cart. I don't see any differences between this version and the release.
I've decided that I'm more of a development board collector than a proto collector. I tell myself that I'm going to learn to make NES games and use them in development, but we'll see if that happens.
Anyone want to trade some NES development boards for a working proto? I'm not interested in homebuilt ones. Only official Nintendo and other company's boards. Yes, the uneprom in this proto is a working development board, but I feel that I'm ruining a good prototype if I unsolder the eprom and put in a socket (especially with my mad soldering skills).
I am always interested in buying blank development boards with or with out the fixins (sockets, resistors, etc).
