I'm looking for something and maybe you can help me:

Does anybody of you know the UK-based magazine SNES Force?

I've seen that they published a novel based on "Street Fighter II Turbo":

(Unfortunately, the guy who uploaded it, only says:
"Oh hey, I found a teeny picture of it! Street Fighter II Turbo the Novel by Will Evans, via SNES Force."
So, he obviously doesn't have the novel itself at hand.)

Here you can read all these magazines.
And in issue 3, September 1993 on page 7 they actually say:

"Anyone lucky enough to have snapped up a copy of last issue will have read our free Street Fighter II Turbo novel."

So, the novel must have been part of issue 2, August 1993, which is the one that has a huge "Street Fighter II Turbo" review.
Unfortunately, the novel is not part of the link.

So, my question: Does anybody own this novel or has read it and remembers what was written in there or can tell me where to get it?

(There was another "Street Fighter II" novel in the magazine Sega Force. But despite the name similarity, that one was written by Chris Rice while the one from SNES Force was written by Will Evans, so I assume they're not the same.)

It would be really great if you could help me.

I probably have that book one somewhere in my mom's attic... no idea when/if I'll see it again, but will keep this thread in mind if I do.

The plot IIRC correctly was a very cheesy one giving you snapshots of how each of the characters were preparing for the next tournament, with some of them teaming up for friendly training after beating each other up a bit first. Standard unimaginative fan-media/promotion material really... but at the time the 13-year old boy I was found it kind of cool, and I was just happy to read anything to practice my English skills. :)

Thanks for the information.

So, the actual Street Fighter tournament was not featured? It was just like an introduction to the game's plot?

Precisely... ending line of the novel went something like "soon the street fighters would do battle, and then the whole world would feel the blast."

Meh. Isn't there any rendition of the game's plot that's actually faithful?
