What's up with the empty space next to the SPC700 and DSP?

Heh, I subconsciously thought it was on the left side of the console from when you flip it over...

I further updated my table.

By checking some Super Nintendos on eBay, I noticed that UN21* - UN26*, i.e. the GPM revisions, can have printed or molded EJECT texts.

Necroing this post because I have something rare to contribute.

My childhood SNES is a 2/1/1 as reported by my Lion King cart's debug screen.
Serial number is UN12275542.

Eject is printed, FCC is a printed label, cartrige connector edges are silver.

Is there anything more helpful that I can do or information I can provide that would be useful?

Edit:
Opened her up after getting appropriate 3.5mm security bit.

IDs on the chips confirm a 2/1/1 and match the IDs in this post, in particular the "rarely mentioned in internet" first line of the ppu2 versions.

Not without opening the shell. If you do, maybe dates? All ICs will have date codes on them (although some of them encode it cryptically). The PCB will have a specific model. (e.g.) Don't think there's anything else.
