I remember programming on one of those things at school, the comterm max:

It was floppy only, 4.77 mhz, monochrome and the only language we had access to was gw-basic. The thing is, it was in the early 90s and better computer were already available (286/386+). After reading the site I learned that it was one of those government deals thing that went south and it was supposed to be mac instead.
