Fire haven't really changed at all since Prometheus stole it from the gods. It is maybe not used as much in modern societies for cooking, unless you are camping or if you count gas stoves.

Where would modern societies be without steel, internal combustion engines, or gas turbines--concepts of Prometheus could have hardly dreamed? To be sure, "primitive" fire is sometimes still used, but for the most part fire is harnessed in ways that are very different from anything bronze-age people could have imagined.

Yeah well the Prometheus story tells of fire as being the base of all other art and technology given to the humans. Although when the story was first told, it was still long before the industrial revolution and modern technology, but still highly complex technology existed compared to more primitive times.

I mean hand tools haven't changed but we have complex machines that work at atom level and stuff as well. One advancement in technology doesn't necessarily always replace another.

Small engine aircraft don't change nearly as fast as cars do, and are usually maintained much longer. It's not uncommon to see planes from the 70's or 80's still in perfect working condition.
