When I was a child multicarts were common.
I had two multicarts and I was fascinated by the art pictures on their plastic case :
1997 SUPER HIK 8 IN 1 EW-800
Gold 7 in 1 HIK AR456

I have always wanted to know the meaning of the term HIK.
Today I was googling and I saw this one by chance :
SUPER HI K 256K 9 IN 1 1995

Any Idea what does it mean?

Seems they're made by JY Company? "HIK" tends to appear on products from Taiwan. I can't find any information from Bootleg Games Wiki on what HIK means.

Seems like they intentionally colored the HI different from the K.

HI is another way to say High.

There is another K, just past the 256. Which makes me think THAT'S what the K means. Memory size.

HI K. Large memory size.

That actually sounds plausible, I always wondered what it was as a kid too. Though I never saw any cart explicitly tell their size (though on the PCBs you often saw the Mbit sizes of the chips).
